Buttermilk
Pancakes
Ingredients:
- 2 cups
all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon
sugar
- 1 1/2
teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon
baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon
salt
- 1 egg,
beaten
- 1 1/2
cups buttermilk
- 1/4 cup
vegetable oil

Directions:
- Sift dry
ingredients (baking powder, baking soda, sugar, salt
and flour) into large bowl.
- In a separate
bowl, mix together the liquid ingredients (egg, buttermilk
and oil).
- Stir liquid
ingredients into dry ingredients.
- Preheat
a small amount of butter or oil into large skillet.
Use about 1/2 cup of mixture for each pancake. Cook
pancakes on both sides until brown and bubbly.
